Wish I'd kept a S & W M/29 4" second year of manufacture and a Sedgley custom 1895 Winchester .30-06.

There was always a reason I bought a certain gun. I have not sold any. This is because of an old gun mentor I listened to. Best advice I ever got.

I've sold a 572 and some Mossbery pump 12ga that wasn't a 500. Both were in a fire and poorly restored. Bought them really cheap as a young kid, traded them toward a Vanguard.
Also sold a Savage 270 I took as collateral for a loan that was never repaid. Sold it for $10 or 20 more than I pad, to a youngster. (Really cheap)
Don't miss them.
Really been pondering selling off a few. There are several that have been in the safe since the 90s and not shot. More that haven't seen the sun in over 10 years. Don't need the money, but these are guns that have no sentimental value and are crowding others.

1970's Colt Python blue with a 2.5" barrel. 1990's Colt Anaconda .45 Colt with a 4" or 6" barrel. Colt Government model in bright stainless. All of these were in perfect condition. Kick myself every time I think about it. Dammit.

Another vote for a Ruger .44 Carbine. I had a Winchester 88 Factory carbine in .308, beautiful little rifle but it kicked like a mule. I had a Remington 141 in .35 Remington that I had modified some, why I sold that, I’ll never know. An absolutely gorgeous Ruger #1 RSI in 7x57 went away with deep regrets. I sold most of them here, if anyone wants to sell them back…

There's many. Two that really bother me are a Marlin 1894CL in 25-20 and a Winchester 94 in 375 Winchester

If I go deep down into this question, I will need a shrink to get back to normal. Can’t do it. I agree. If I do more than scratch the surface on this I'll end up curled in a fetal position on the floor

I’ve owned quite a few and wished I still had this Westley Richards Damascus 10 gauge hammer gun. It was one of those I sold to buy something else, but should have kept…

Too many, and too painful to recall.
Right now seems to be a good time to quit selling, as no one around here is buying much, so I guess the corners will remain full.
On the positive side, my thirst for more seems to be temporarily slaked……
What fresh Hell is this?

Definitely the Ruger Deluxe 10/22 that I had back in the 80's when I was in school. Traded it for something I thought I needed more!

Stainless/synthetic Model 70 push feed. I bought it while I was moonlighting @ the LGS circa 92-94. I killed my only Elk with it and my first black bear. It had been bedded, an upsized striker spring, stock shortened 1/4" and a magnum decelarator added. The trigger broke @ a crisp 2 lbs. A Leup Vari-X II in Leup. rings and bases topped it off. It was a shooter with anything you ran through it. I really don't remember why I sold it. But I do know who I sold it to.
A couple of years ago my wife and son tried to purchase it back from "Kevin" for "stupid" money and he wouldn't sell. Says he's going to will it to his son. He knows that if he ever decides to sell it ...
Regrets to this day.

Never outright sold any, traded a few for others. Over the last couple of years I have started giving family heirloom guns to deserving nephews. No regrets.
