I hunted bear on Admiralty Island a few years ago. We used 12ft inflatables to cruise along the coastline. Heading back to camp the first night my guide pointed out to me we had Orcas about 50 yards on either side of us just following. A few days later we had a sea lion swimming around/under our boat. It was amazing the amount of wildlife we saw.

A few weeks ago, running out of Whittier to Kodiak, we had a small pod come to within 10' of the boat and run with us for awhile. We were just leaving PWS at the time.
Mark Begich, Joaquin Jackson, and Heller resistance... Three huge reasons to worry about the NRA.

Wife, son, and myself were trolling for silvers near Pony Cove when a pod of orca’s decided to swim by the port side of our Sea Sport. Each one was within 6 feet of the boat and as they swam by they turned their bodies a little looking up and making eye contact with us. A truly memorable experience.
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Ditto with me in an 18’ ski boat out at Agnes Cove, but it was a single bull with a cow. The bull passed by within 6’ of the port side looking at me standing in the boat. His dorsal fin stood taller into the air than I was standing in the boat. It was one of my most treasured moments. We were speechless.
