I wouldn't pizz down either of those jag off's throats if their guts were on fire. Would seem, to anyone with a slight degree of intelligence, that a skilled "gunsmith", should be able to make this simple repair. Maybe, don't use a dremel, though !

If you are ever interested in breaking rods, I can share many interesting and inventive ways of doing so from my years of experience. Yeah, slam it in the tailgate on your truck. That'll do it. Don't ask me how I know. My boat locker and the hatch doors had a voracious appetite for breaking rod tips and guides.
