Store bought has a goodly amount of water so I usually do 2 to keep it sorta flat. Homemade has much less water so 1 cut is all you need

I buy the 505 brand from Costco. Good stuff, even my born and bred souther nm buddy buys it to fill the gaps when he runs out of home made.
