This rifle is new in box. Chambered in 45-90 and can also shoot 45-70. The lawyers stamped the barrel for black powder only but owners generally ignore that and use smokeless and this rifle will handle some very lethal loads. Reaching around 2,000 fps with a 400 grain slug is possible. Starline sells brass and bullets are .458 so both are usually easy to find. 24 inch round barrel with straight stock, no saddle ring. My dad still kicks himself after not buying an original Winchester 1886 chambered in .45-90 at a flea market about 40 years ago. He thought it would be difficult to find ammo. When he got home and read that it would use .45-70, he drove right back, but it was gone.

I still have a 1895 take down in 30-06 plus a non take down in 405. Also am bringing a BHA 500 S&W so I have things covered for Alaska
