This one was taken by our daughter and she pointed out that in the center of the Aurora it looks like a woman with long hair and a flowing dress…

Nothing in central MI tonight yet either. Sky is crystal clear after a morning of rain too. I had high hopes.

We were out looking last night. We saw some about 11pm but nothing really spectacular. We got a bonus, though, as the space station went over, appearing to be in the middle of the lights. The lights can be higher than the space station's orbit. I have no idea what they can see of them from space.

stophel: I saw on TV (so it has to be true!) that the Northern Lights were visible as far south as Florida and Texas yesterday!
Enjoyed them again last night here in SW Montana.
Keep looking up.

I looked it up. From the ISS, they have a spectacular view of the lights with no interference from the air or city lights.
