Anyone have any experience or info on these scopes? It would be going on a SA 700 .308 win in a A-5 stock. It'll get twisted up and down a lot. Is it trustworthy? It's a great deal price wise, and I know their good scopes for hunting, just don't know if it's up to the job of target/tactical etc. If not, a MK4 is gettin' the job, it's just 2X the money.

I use it and a Nightforce on a 300 win mag. It is a great scope and you can save some money by going through Doug at cameraland.

7mmaniac,
Friend of mine has a 300 Weatherby.Mounted the Conquest about 4
years ago now.Did from 400 to 950 yards in 50 yard increments.
We played around with it quite a bit.It came right back to Zero every time.Still working as far as I know.Great glass.

Make sure that Zeiss has enough vertical adjustment range for your application. Somewhere on these boards it been mentioned the high magnification Conquests are lacking in this respect. I guess a 20 MOA sloped mount base could help.

I have the exact model on a 243 wssm ar15 with badger ordnance rings. I tracks superbly and returns to zero every time. I only have about 150 rounds fired with it though. However I fire 400-500 rounds through a 4.5x 14 model with exact results as above and it is on a 300 wsm bolt gun and still going strong.

I have a 3x9 conquest model with an elevation turret added, I have used the turret to take yotes at 666 and over 400 yards, so it must be pretty damn accurate, the awesome thing is zeiss has 18MOA of adjustment with one turn!!! no other scope I have found offers this with 1/4 adjustments, the turrets are easy to read, fairly low profile with very positive adjustments, If you have the coin go with the zeiss, I am also looking at the new leupold MK2, however only because they are less money
