First time out this year, lakes high and falling. Fished a couple of hours fighting wind, caught two bass, 18" an 18.50". Got rosy cheeks tonight, bright sun today and bouncing off that water, got it from both directions. Sure felt good starting out, but rods got heavy and wrist got weak before I quit. Fish just beginning to stage, probably be another week before action picks up, water warms up and lake stabelizes. -- Anyone else notice how slow this board is? Wonder if the action will pick up here or this site go dry. This is where I take my boat out of the water unless someone joins the party. -- no
OH yes, both fish on spinner baits with tickler.

I have to wait about two more months to put the boat in. About 1.5 feet of ice left. Any giants caught this year yet? TTS

Well partners, while I have my boat on the trailer, think I will take my Bushwacker to another fishing hole. This ole hole is too slow for me and time is too short before weigh in. Tight lines and best of luck, when they start biting give me a shout on Hunters Campfire and I will drag my boat back down here. -- no
My next tournament is this week end.

Hello need one:
Got to get out on Lake Mead - have talked with a couple of anglers that I have known for a good while, nothing yet to brag about out there. Water temp will start to rise now that the cold days have past and the highs have been in tha upper 80's and soon the stripers will be in the 45 - 50 foot depths.
Boat is ready and we'll be out there in a couple weeks if the wind does not start up like it did every weekend last year.

Good fishing to you.

Hi need one,
I live in Missouri and fish through out the year. Pick my days in winter and fish BASS Federation in season.
Winter Rogue bite was poor, not enough really cold weather to kill off the threadfin.
Fish are just beginning to stage now in southern lakes e.g. Bull Shoals and Table Rock.
As soon as we get 3 to four nights at 60' the normal pre spawn stage will be on. Should be about two more weeks.

Tack
