Just curious what most poundage we all shoot!! I've felt very comfortable pulling 69-70 pounds for many years now and feel that the extra draw weight will add to the punch of my arrow, and increase the odds of a pass through shot.

I shoot between 78-82 lbs. While it is not necessary, I do it because I can shoot it accurately. I have taken shoulder shots when there was no other available and have not had a problem. I'm not a speed freak. My arrows weigh 600gr and fly at 265 fps.

There's 2 dates they carve on your tombstone.
Everyone knows what they mean.
What's more important is time that is known
as the little dash inbetween.

After years of shooting a 70# recurve, I went back to my 1968 Wing Thunderbird. 51# at my draw length. Killed 6 hogs and one buck with it last year. All but one a shoot through with the Magnus 2-blades.
