I have owned a couple in 256. Win Mag. I think the model # for thr 22 Mag is diffrent. Like to try to fimd both again. They both shot rabbits well.

Oops, Model 64 in the 256 win. mag. Sorry I did't catch my typo sooner, and some how missed Vamrods (SP) post on how much they were bringing. What about the levermatics in 22 mag.?

Isn't the model for the .256 and .30 carbine the 62? The 57M is the .22mag.

Wes I tried to correct myself and still got it wrong, yes you are right on both accounts. Saw a 57 this weekend at a gun show and rememberd why I sold mine, it has a saftey like a 99 Sav. that you have to push forward to get it off. My hands don't work like that anymore.
