I have a friend that wants a 185 grain or lighter gas check bullet mold for a 45 ACP. Anybody out there know of one that's a regular production item (i.e.: not as expensive as having a custom mold made)?

you really don't need a GC design for 45 ACP, but sorry I don't know of any.
Whatever you are willing to put up with, is exactly what you will have.
When your ship comes in. ... make sure you are willing to unload it.
PAYPAL, sucks and I will never use them again. I recommend you do the same.

Tell your friend not to waste his money on a custom mold.
He doesn't need a gas check for the velocities he will get with a 45 ACP.
