Just returned from a backpack hunt. My buddy and I scored a double on goats. The interesting part is that his weapon of choice was the Model 94 45 Colt with a 320gr checked flatnose @ 1525 fps. He is an accomplished shooter, and made a beautiful shot, breaking the shoulders and anchoring the goat at 155 yards. The bullet performed flawlessly, and of course, exited <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Thought you fellows might be interested. Kind of a neat contrast, seeing as I was packing a lightweight, custom 7-08AI with a fiberglass stock and a stainless barrel and 140 partitions(old meets new <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />).
