Guys,

I'm on my way to Tucson, AZ tomorrow morning and I have a free afternoon. Do you have any suggestions for gun shops that are worth visiting. Just as a comparison point one of my favorites and the shop where I purchased my first shotgun over thirty years ago is the Kittery Trading Post in Kittery ME. Is there a similar shop in Tucson.

I'd have to say Murphy's gun shop. 3235 N. Country Club Rd. It is just north of Fort Lowell on the west side of the street. There is a Circle K next store. Lot of cool stuff to look at there and very knowledgable folks there.

You could go visit Harry Lawson custom rifle shop. It is a very close to Murphy's. Go east further down Fort Lowell and turn left on Richey. A block and 1/2, 3328 Richey. It is on the right.

As long as you are in the vicinity...if you get there earlier than they open at 9 am you could have a great breakfast at the Egg Connection. I highly recommend the food. 3114 N. Fort Lowell.
