Should be a few. With today's technology, there's really no sense in hunting when game animals are least active. Anybody familiar with this efficient, growing area of hunting?

Please explain your question.

I love this place at night. The stars ... there's no right or wrong in them. They're just there.

Way back when I was in High-school a buddy had coon hounds. I always loved that, and he never had to invite me more than once for me to accept. Never had a dog of my own though.
It wouldn't pay now. You need a special furtakers license to even kill a coon, and the pelts (which you cannotsell without the furtaker license), stretched and dried, are only worth 3$ or so. And the idiots wonder why rabies is almost epidemic.
A friend is big into fox and coyotes, and has invited me to go along. I'm very much looking forward to it.
I have done one or two "other" after hours hunts, but in todays world where cell phones rule, and minding ones own business is a thing of the past, I can honestly say I have no desire for meat THAT bad. 7mm

Stick,
Been a while since I've seen you post, where ya been? Was starting to think you had sold off all your rifles and given up hunting and shooting.

LSU, I'd heard the same thing myself. Heard old Stick had been converted by PETA or ALF or somebody and had pitched all his guns in the sea and taken the oath and started living on bean sprouts and tofu. Was planning to take up where that Treadwell feller left off and make a career out of tickling tummies on bears.

Yeah, I heard that instead of cutting down the tree's he's chaining himself to them to protest logging.

I don't pay attention to archaic laws that funnel all hunters into the same timeframe. Easy to get shot these days. I pay my tag fees, I figure the government's got no business telling people when they can shoot animals. They belong to us right?

Go away, goofball. It's obvious you either think you're going to get folks to confess their sins or you are simply trying to rile folks up.
Someone, I'm guessing you, was here about 6 months ago trying to do the same thing. Can't remember the exact question then, but trying to get folks to confess illegal activities. Exact same manner of presenting the question, etc. If memory serves, you were PM'ing folks to see if anyone would illegally sell animal parts to you.
For the record, I don't hunt during illegal hours. Don't even push 'em by a few minutes. If it's legal to hunt at night, such as it is in Alaska and for certain species in other states, I don't have a problem with it.

I always enjoyed a lil' night hunting at the local watering holes, but then I had to go and get married and ruin everything.

I'm only going to give this one roll of the dice and no more. The game belongs to the state unless you have it in a pen. While you might not pay any attention to how, where, and when game is hunted you can bet that the state does.

I thought this was a serious hunting site? You guys obviously aren't ready for a real shooter who takes his equipment seriously. I guarantee my rifle is worth 3 times what your's is worth. I'll stop back in a year of so when there's a serious cat out there who has some experience with new age shooting equipment.

So does this mean you're not going to be posting here anymore?
