Can someone hear tell me what happened to them. I shot some 55 grainers out of a 22-250. They were Fed. Factory Ammo. I was very pleased with them. I thought I read the founder of them has died. I can't seem to find them anywhere. I was going to load them up for yotes for pelt hunting. Guy's I don't shoot Barns Bullets, I have nothing against those who do. Thanks for your help.

The bear claws are a great pelt bullet. Used to use them alot but now just shoot the 243s with the 55s. Hope you have luck finding them. HAPPY HUNTING

Speer bought the rights to manufacture and market the TBBC from the designer, Jack Carter. They improved the bullet and now market it. It is quite pricey now, but still a good bullet. Federal still loads it in many of their premium loads. For the price, perhaps there are better choices.
Where did you say we are going? And why are we in this handbasket?

I think the new design TBBC with the plastic tip and relief grooves has made the original obsolete. This will probably hamper availability for a while until production quantities of the new version catches up with demand.

Thanks Guys, I now know how to find them again. I hope the new ones work as well as the old ones. I have a friend who was in a bad car wreck. Almost lost the use of his right arm completly. About the only rifle he can take the recoil from is his 22-250. I gave him my last box of Factory I had. Now I will order some today.

The TBBC loaded by Federal still work well. They are a good bullet. I have certainly killed a fair amount of game with the 175 grain TBBC in my 7 mm RM, and it always performed well for me. The new bullets work just as well as the old ones.
