Can you milk the trigger on a Browning 1889 in 45-70 to cause a light hammer strike? Option two Do the Browning 1889 remakes have week hammer springs?

I've got to confess my ignorance, what is meant by "milking the trigger"? While I'm at it, I saw a post somewhere that mentioned a "New York Reload", any ideas what that is? Tnx

"New York Reload" is a handgun term for carrying a second handgun. That way when your first one runs dry instead of reloading it you just grab the second one for a "New York Reload".

Milking the trigger according to something I read somewhere was pulling the trigger so slow as to not get a clean trigger break.
I believe it is possible with some actions to get light firing pin strikes, but I dont remember which actions these were.
