Just wondering what material do you prefer your magazine to be made from - stainless steel, aluminum or plastic?

I've always bought aluminum mags (LaBelle/D&H or Center Ind.) but I have a batch of MagPul PMAGS set to hit my door this week. From what I've seen, they're the mag to beat!! There's another mag thread just down the page a bit but here's the link if you're interested.... Mags I just checked again and the thread I was thinking about was the one you started on 20 vs. 30 rounders. Guess you've seen it already....

I prefer my magazines be made of paper. I can't imagine "Handloader" coming in the mail and being printed on aluminum, steel or plastic.

My PMags came 8 or 9 days ago.....black with the window. Boy they do look nice and the snap covers are definitely on there tight! Well made product.
Need a little range time now to wring 'em out.....
Good luck gettin' yours in soon....let me know how you like them as I will.

Mine were waiting for me when I got home!! Ahhhhh.....new mags.....I can't wait to get 'em out either..... They're definitely tough and the followers are a night and day improvement over the older "greenies" that I have on the rest of my mags. Those snap on dust covers are a nice touch but will be a pain to keep track of IMO. A future improvement would be to make a dust/debris cap that you could clip on the bottom of the mag when the mag was in use(maybe even design it like a "MagPul"....and then send me a commission check with each one sold!!

C-Products aren't bad but I have sent several back with bad followers. Good customer service though!!

Nebraska - That's okay, I appreciate your help and knowledge! I pm'd you about some info that was posted on the mag pull website. I'll be very interested to know what you think of those pmags! I've picked up some 20 rounders from both c-products and brownell's and they look like good quality mags but I figure I'll need to stock up on more before next January.
