I'm working with a new 6.5 x 55 Swide built on a 98 action; when the gun is cold it will show a good group of around 1 inch. But when the rifle heats up it starts to shoot 5-6" horzonital strings.
Anybody have a clue what's goung on with this thing?

It would appear it was a stock related problem. I would check that area first
accuracy and efficiency -- not to mention having the best, most durable and advanced rifle possible."

Sounds like a barrel of suspect stress relief.................
Brad says: "Can't fault Rick for his pity letting you back on the fire... but pity it was and remains. Nothing more, nothing less. A sad little man in a sad little dream."
