Anybody have any experience with this ammo? I just got 200 rds and was going to order another 200 rds today.I don't want to open the packs,as they are sealed in battle packs.I don't plan on shooting it anytime soon, I plan on saving it for a rainy day.Just wanted to hear ya'll opinions on this stuff.Maybe reccomend anothe ammo to buy in bulk.

I shot several hundred rounds last week without any problems. Some out of a stock 16" Armalite and some out of a custom with an 18" Noveske barrel. Ammunition was a mix of the 62 and 75.

Just make sure they are not the 2004 headstamp. There were pressure problems with some lots in that year.

PAYPAL, sucks and I will never use them again. I recommend you do the same.

Wideners has that brand, in the 55 grain, for $320/1000, and the 62 grain for #340.1000 rounds.

Sam,
You ever shot any of this stuff? I was just curious on price for comparison. I shoot my own loads or Hornady TAP.

Keith, to be honest, I don't do a lot of shooting with my AR rifles or my M1A rifles anymore. About once a month, I go through a few magazines to check zero and function. I only shoot MilSurp ammo in these guns. When I first got some Privi .223, (62 grain), I shot up one 200 round battle pack. I could not find anything wrong with it. It seems as accurate as any decent MilSurp ammo, but did chronograph a bit slower (about 50 -75 fps) then some Lake City M855 I had in stock. I ran some through all three of my AR rifles, as well as my Mini-14 and my AR180B. No malfunctions, not that dirty, and as I said, reasonably accurate.

Ordered 200 rounds of Prvi 55gr. FMJ BT from Widener's, and just tried some today. Shoots 1" groups from my 16" DPMS bull barrel. It does seem louder than the Remington UMC I've been shooting. Functioned great. The only thing that I can see is that the red primer sealer does transfer to the bolt. Seems to be great ammo.
