FWIW, I found almost zero difference between the Fed 215's and CCI 250's in my .300 WSM.

Sam

The CCI 250 is the only primer I've used in my STW.No complaints here.

At the moment 77 grains of IMR 7828 under a 150 gr Nosler part. Can sneak up to 78 without any pressure signs, but it seems to shoot tighter at 77.

You people just don't know where to look and to keep your ear to the ground---just got 5000 210M and 5000 215M primers a couple of weeks ago. If you hang around BR folks, you will always know when product becomes available. I got mine from Powder Valley and from Mid South but they disappeared in about 48 hours.

I know that there is a problem but now I have enough for the next 2 seasons if worst comes to worst.

If the worst you've suffered from this war is the lack of primers, then life must be good.

Ackleyfan, I do not remeber the name. The place is located on Siegin Lane(spelling) between Airline and I10. It is on the left coming from airline towards I 10, in a L shaped strip center, closer to Airline. It is about a 1/4 mile down from Jim's firearems on the left. I just looked for their card in my truck could not find it. Do not know about 215M. I bought 210Match. I saw many Blue box federal primer boxes and ask about the match primers, he did not have them on display but he had them.

Hope this helps

Hi Mike, First of all I want to thank you for your interest in Federal
primers. Please understand that our manufacturing capabilities are at an
all time high and the current wartime situation is hindering domestic
shipments for the time being. All of our major trading partners have
orders on the books and we will be filling orders as product becomes
available. I know that may not be what you want to hear but it is the
best we can do for now. A couple of places you can check with
Are the Sportsman's Warehouse, Midway Arms

Thank you for your patience
ATK-Customer Service

That is not customer service. That is a brush off. They should have negotiated their contracts with the government in such a way that they could do both government supply and public supply.

Instead we get thrown under the bus while they feed at the tax payers trough, and the prices will go up. A win/win..........for them.

I hate to call anyone I don't know a douche bag, but I fail to see supplying ammo to the troops as feeding at the tax payer trough.

They really don't have a choice as the DPAS Regulations require requested deliveries and quantities be met. There are exceptions but they have to do with higher rated military orders that always take precedence over commercial orders even one already accepted and committed to.

Oooh, I like that one. I for one can put my hobby on hold or at least cut back to supply our troops with what they need.

I order ammunition for my PD and I was told by our supplier that we needed to have at least a 6 month supply of ammunition on hand because of the waits involved. I just plan ahead now.

Amen to that! One has to wonder if we could win a major war with attitude like that. We should be thanking Federal or any other supply for putting our troops first regardless of their profits.
