I generally ignore handguns with names I'm not familiar with.
Recently I had read a small comment about the Tanfoglio. When I saw a BTA90 Baby 9mm resting on a shelf in my local gun shop at a very reasonable price I took it home.

The gun is hard chrome finished and feels very good in the hand. Having a steel frame it is heavier than the S&W 6906 I've been carrying which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Inside the gun I found some tool marks but in general it seems well made. On the range it shot Cor-Bon 115 JHP, Rem 124 Golden Sabre, Fiocchi 115 fmjhp and Fed 147 HydraShok without a hitch.

On top of that it was fun to shoot. The trigger which felt rougher than I'm used to da dryfiring was very good in actual practice. The gun came with three 12-round pre-ban mags.

If any of you are interested in a great pistol at a good price keep your eyes open for a Tanfoglio.
