The trees were a surprise to me as I didn't see themthe first time I looked at the pic only after a few more glances did I notice.

I know what you mean. I took a picture of a friend one time through a train window, we were on the White Pass and Yukon Route Railway. Not until I got the photos back, did I see her husband's reflection in the window. It was so cool!

Grear shots--really like the composition on the train shot--the angle and the color of the engines really sets it off.

On the B and W of the mountains--did you shoot it in monochrome mode or post process it? Just curious.

The train shot is the last in a series of them that I got that day, if I put them all together in a slide show you can watch it as it comes towards me on the tracks. We had been out snowshoeing in Talkeetna and some of the trail led right along the tracks.

The Mtns were post processed
