Found this knife today at a knife show. It's been used a bit, but seems fairly sturdy. Was just flying through the show and happened to notice the sheath (love Charlie's sheaths).

Wouldn't have ever thought of ordering such a configuration, but the price was right.

So tell me, what is the "purpose" for such a configuration? Feels real good in the hand, but just not sure what such a short, fat blade is really meant for?

Was that at the Novi show??? Guess I missed it. I did see a Loveless that I would have liked, but was a little short of the $4500 being asked.
I am guessing the knife pictured would make a skinner and a backup.

Yeah, it was; no telling what I missed; the wife was outside and I just ran through there real quick. Getting ready to chase turkeys this week - hopefully Wed. morning.

Looks like a way cool cutter--I like the shorter full-bellied blades.

Nice find.
