been lookin for 3/4" sling for a steyr mannlicher carbine 9.3x62 i've found all the load stuff and plan to hunt w/this gun but it's got 3/4' swivels & the studs are to small to fit standard "uncle mikes swivles, the stud screws are also to big to just replace w/uncle mikes studs. next to drillin out the swivel mount holes??? any ideas? nice leather would be nice
let me give you boys a lil' tip. you might wanna turn off that engine 'fore you go and change that there fan belt!

Do what I did with my Mannlicher, hunt it without a sling.

Steely-I noticed that you normally go slingless, is that because of the vast amount of foilage?

Don't have much use for one. If I'm going someplace really silly I might have one in my pack, then again I might not. I like having the rifle in my hands and it do make moving around in the stuff easier.
Never used one in the lower 4 dozen either.

Can't imagine that if you find someone that does leather work/custom sling maker, that they couldn't turn you out one. Do a 'custom sling' google or something akin and drop one of them a line.

You might try El Paso Saddlery, they did a tortilla holster for my 3" 44 an it came out very well.
My Father runs a MS in .06 and sooner or later I'll get him a sling from these folks. Man oh man I just can't believe how will that bugger shoots!
Steely do your MS's shoot really good also?
Good luck to ya

Bigrocks, I have a bunch of sources for 3/4" and 1.25" slings. What style and color do you want? Leather and brass, belt-stitched with covered buckles, canvas, canvas and leather, tan or green canvas? English or Continental?
If you are unfamiliar with some of these, I can post pix of them on Mannlichers.

Sounds like you just want a cobra sling for carrying the rifle. I know were some were in zebra, buff and crocodile. I'll see if there are still there and send you some addresses. I might post some pix of the others, too.
