What gives dosn't any care about their right to own fire arms, or are most of you just too d**b lazy to do any thing. Why are there over 8000, I repeat 8000, posts on just two sites here and only 250 on this site. It's pathetic you all talk the talk but don't even crawl when it comes defending your right to own fire arms. Yes a few people are fighting the fight but it's less than 10%. It looks like we are going to lose and there is no where else to go.
Bullwnkl.

Whoa there, Bullwnkl,
I can't speak for the rest of the posters on this board, but I regularly write to my congressman, Senators, and other politicians in and from my state of Texas, contribute fairly significant sums of money to the NRA, the Texas State Rifle Assoc---which keeps an eye on the local gun law efforts---and others. The problem that I think you are concerned about is the posting or lack thereof on this board. With all due respect, you won't get very far just preaching to the choir, so while I check this area frequently for posts that might alert me to a problem area that I can help deal with, sitting at your computer and telling us how we are not doing anything is counter productive to say the least. We are on the same side here, but complaining about how we are not doing anything is not solving the problem. When did you write your Senator or Representative last? Are you a member of the NRA? A life member? I hope you are, and that is good, but don't tell me how I am not doing anything. Good Shooting.

However in order for us to gain an upper hand on the antis we must preach to the choir to get them out and recruiting. I do not know why you take statements like the one I made about doing nothing personally if you are trying to do your part as I feel you are. I spend a good deal of time communicating with my local politicians. I teach defensive shooting to groups and volunteer for search and rescue. All the while spreading the word that gun control is not in anyones best interest. I have been a NRA member since 1965.
Seems every time I post some thing like this one of you Texas folk take it personally and that is a good thing as there are a lot of people in Texas who need to learn from YOU.
My friend you should know that I am not telling you what to do as you are already doing it. But 8000 post and so little interest in the second amendment, numbers are important in this game. Wouldn't you like to say to your congress man that since the end of January there have been 8000 posts regarding the second amendment. Now that would be something wouldn't it. How many hits would that transfer into? You and I both know politics is a game of numbers. I hope you see my point. Thanks for the reply.
Shoot straight shoot often
Bullwnkl
