I recently found two 15-round Ramline constant rate spring magazines for the 6904/6906 S&W in one of my junk drawers. They worked OK until the last round which in the case of both magazines jammed. Apparently the last round pops out of the mag prior to the forward motion of the slide causing the round to jam in the breech.
I suspect the mags are dirty. Does anyone know of a method for cleaning the type of magazine that cannot be completely disassembled. I was thinking about spraying the liberally (I hate that word <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />) with degreaser then oiling the lightly to prevent rust.
Any tips appreciated.
