I own a Dodge if that says anything, and all my rifles are American made. The wife and I go out of our way to buy stuff made here. Les

Les,
I try to buy all American as well. Look under the hood of that Dodge and check out where most of the electronic internals come from. My "guess" (and that's all it is) is China. These "politicians" everyone is about to vote for are the cause. Don't know what the answer is, but all this ranting and raving won't accomplish anything.

Your right, a lot of it is made there, but the labor to assemble is mostly the US, some in Canada too. I will buy Canadian goods before other countries though. Les

In the 90's they said only the low skilled jobs would be going overseas. As if that wasn't bad enough. Well now American companies are outsourcing high tech and scientific research jobs to Inia and China. Somebody has to put a stop to this. It's bad enough that we, our children and grandchildren are enslaved by interest on Federal Reserve notes which makes up 90% of our national debt;
Now the Feds have sold off a lot of that debt to the Chinese the same way mortgage co.'s sell mortgages back and forth. I don't know how to fix it but I think Ron Paul had some good ideas. But he's "crazy" isn't he. Maybe the proverbial Sh1t has to hit the fan for people to wake up and take this country back. I feel like a frog in the pot and it's starting to get warm in here. You don't think somebody had this planned out do you?

I agree, They treat our troops and "VETS" in hospitals like refuse and hand illegal alians all kinds of benefits second only to the tax breaks that "American"? owned businesses get for moving facilities ( research and production) overseas. And don't forget who really controls the 3 puppets.
This is worth checking out. After reading I did my own research to check the facts and sadly they're accurate. Ignorance is truly bliss........'til it turns to p1ss........but don't worry

Our "Tax" system is one of the most convoluted and PUNISHING on the planet. It DISCOURAGES innovation and small business. It is no wonder our businesses are looking to "business friendly" environs.

Two words: FAIR TAX

Get rid of the IRS and the K-Street phonies. Put the power back in the hands of the people, not the politicrats.

Besides, it is OUR money, not theirs...

Flat tax and term limits on all elected government jobs would
fix a bunch of problems, but neither will ever happen in this
country.

If your Dodge pickup is a 4-door, it was made in Mexico.

All said, the Savage 99 is a genius of a rifle. Although no longer produced, it remains highly revered, as it was the foundation from which Arthur Savage built one of America's great gun companies. >> (Jon Y. Wolfe) <<

If it wasn't for unions it would have been made here. If it were union made here it would cost three times as much. Just my opinion

I recall reading that Winchester closing down the plant here had much to do with the union.
