With light bullets my best loads have been with H4198 This is some input I got from Alliant. The only data that I know of for this cartridge is in the Hornady manual. They suggest the following: 32 gr Hornady RL 7 powder start 20.1 grs @ 3600 fps max 23.4 grs @ 4000 fps Thanks for your interest in contacting us and have a nice day. 17ACKLEYBEE: Man oh man - it sure looks like you have that 20 cal "dialed in"! By the way what is the purpose of the "blurry" lines and outlines on your target??? Just being a smart alec there Johnny - its been so long since I shot targets in the rain that I forgot what the good old "Puget Sound liquid sunshine" can do to a target! Again great group, and velocity, from your Rifle! Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

VG that was shot in the end of April here in the warm Pacific Northwest. While I shot that target it rained, hailed, blew and snowed. Just another day of Glo Bull warming in the PNW.
I'm headed to the range today to play with some Varmint Extremes in the .17 and play with the Benchrest gun a little.

Reloader 10x is a powder that shouldn't be overlooked in the .20's. I know it works very well in the .20 Var-Tag (.221 Fireball case) with both the 32s and the 39/40 grainers.
