today i decided to put a spring kit into my blackhawk.
changed spring on strut no problem next my gate spring out leaving the gate loose so idecided to fix that problem.this is where my quagmire is located. i watched it come out ,but i can't quite get it right going back together.

i've gotten to the point where the gate spring was installed,
but it popped out. i am having trouble trying to get the index lock and trigger back in.

anybody out there have any ideas. i'd be forever in your debt.dan

ezearl ,thank you for the offer and taking time to reply.
i believe i got tyhat view in my manual, and i came close,
but that darn spring kept popping out. on my last try
i managed to lose the trigger pin. as result i'm stalled till ruger sends another to me. i looked for that pin last nite and today, and for not having a brain that pin is sure doing a good job of avoiding me. thanks again, dan

There is a board rule that reads something like this:

"If you have to ask, DO NOT Use any form of cutting or grinding tool."

I'm sure that is not exact but sort of covers the thought and wisdom of the answer.
