Nice looking rifle!
Have owned several 77 tangs in the past. Wish Id'a kept them! Still don't understand why they felt the need to change.

I traded an 06 for a S&W 586 back in early 80's. probably one of the dumbest gun decisions I have made to date. The smoth is a nice revolver but I have not been competitive shooting for years and I still hunt.

I have another 77 tang in 338 win Mag that I won't sell because I like the rifle. It is alittle large recoil for me now but I still love to shoot it.

You will be pleased with it as both of mine felt right and shot well. Yours is also a pretty one.

I have a 77 tang in 25-06 that my dad gave me that I have not shot in 10 years. I guess I need to get it out and play with it.

Thank s folks,
Ive got dies and bullets ordered and after tomorrow a few days off. I like it a lot so far. The scope and sling came with it.
The scope is a Nikon 2x7. Ive never seen one like it. Its got like a red and silver band around the bell. Its nice and clear.

I killed my first deer with a tang-safety Ruger .270 in 1988. I killed my last deer with that same rifle last season, and will use it this October when deer season reopens in Georgia. I own several other rifles now, including customs, but still love and use that Ruger. Mine wears a Nikon, too. Congratulations!

I recently picked up a M77 tang in 280 Rem that I really like. It has a 20" bbl and I have not shot it yet. I mated a Leupold 2.5x8x36 on it and it seems to be an awesome hunting rifle.

I have 2 tang safety Rugers, a .220 Swift from the mid-70's and a 7mm mag from the mid 80's; wish I'd kept an early '70's .25-06. They've all been great shooters for me. I've looked at some of the newer Rugers and just can't warm up to them. They don't seem as mechanically smooth and as well finished as the tang safety ones.

NICE!!

I really love the looks of the RL and you just hardley ever see one up for sale it seems. It looks very lightly used also. Ya done good!
I have a tang safety in 7x57 that looks and shoots well.
Enjoy!
