i have an old goldeneagle bow i want to rig it up to bow fish the weight is 55 to 70 lbs is this to much?

Check out my post about bowfishing. I got an old golden eagle I have set up for bowfishing. I still need to tweek it a bit, but for now, it works. It is currently set at 70lbs, but will be cranking it down to 50lbs or so.
