I am making this old recipe for the neighborhood get together tommorrow. We will use it for dipping the "crudit�s" Avocado/ Cheese Dip
April 13th, 2002
Four ripe Haas Avocados, seeded, scooped, cut into chunks
Eight ounces softened cream cheese
Eight ounces softened feta cheese
One (or more) fine diced jalapeńo pepper
One small white onion, fine diced
Sea salt, white pepper to taste
Two plum tomatoes, seeded and diced
Fresh Cilantro (to taste)
Method:
Put all ingredients in the food processor. Work until smooth and well blended. Check seasoning, adjust if necessary.

I made this over the weekend for some friends and family. It was great and went quickly.
We used some grilled yellow squash and zuchinni (sp?) for dipping in addition to other things.

I had to drop the jalapeno (too spicy for some) and used a poblano instead. I also added a garlic clove.
It got rave reviews. When I showed them you recipe and how simple it was I had to print it and sent home with most.
