Guess I'll be using Greenhornet's ID while we are here as I can't remember my password. The trip was looonnnnnnnnng and pretty uneventful. We managed to stay ahead of the storm in Kansas it looked really nasty off to the southeast. Glad we were heading west as they had tornado warnings out.
Sounds as if we got through Iowas just in time. How terrible about those poor scouts.

I just now saw the other post.
hadn't seen any news in the past 40+ hours as after work yesterday it was straight to a double header ball game for my 10 year old which ran late.
That's aweful.
terrible thing,
I've got a doughter headed for camp on monday & a niece headed for a mexico church trip tomorrow.... hate having the kids away from home.

I didn't take the kittens as he said no but when we got here Kirta told me that her dad had told her she could have one if Grandma gave it to her. Now I find out. Had the perfect one for her too.

Hmmmm, maybe I'll UPS it to her after we get home. Of course she is coming back to Michigan with us and her aunt is taking her home. She probably wouldn't mind an extra passenger. ROFL
