i have a chance to buy one for $100. i thought these went for about 2-250? i know i dont need another 22, i don't even shoot the one i have. need has little to do however with owning a gun. dad's got a 66 that he won't part with and i can't mis with. my 10-22 is pretty neet, nice stock/trigger.. then again, the nylon 66's and 77's are what they are. should i pass or am i stupid to not already have it? just thinkin out loud. my kid is gonna need a 22 in about 5 years any way, right?
let me give you boys a lil' tip. you might wanna turn off that engine 'fore you go and change that there fan belt!

If the rifle is in nice condition, $100 seems like a fair price any good quality rifle. IIRC, the 77 Apaches were made near the end of the Nylon 22 production and had a green stock and matte finished metal. I have had better luck with the tubular magazine Nylon 66s then I have with the clip fed Nylon 22s, as those that I've owned have not always fed all varieties of ammo as consistently.

For $100, I'd buy it, if you won't. Love my Nylon 66 Apache Black. Splendid little rifles.
