Has anybody actually heard from this guy in the last couple of weeks? On the surface it looks like he's disappeared. I've called several times & left messages on his voice mail.
No rifle/no communication = bad mojo?

I made arrangements to purchase the Swede from Derrick. He received the US postal money order back on 8/1/2008 (I have the UPS tracking information), then not a word from him until 8/19/08. On the 19th I was told that the weapon would ship by Saturday the 23rd at the latest. Then on the 23rd I received the following from Derrick via email:
Good evening Joe.
Thank you for your concern. The rifle is now in the hands of my FFL, as of today. He always ships the next morning, so he has me call him in the afternoon of the next day to get the confirmation number. I will e-mail it to you as soon as I have it. He always contacts the receiving FFL holder to inform him of the expected shipment. If you call your FFL tomorrow, I'm sure he will have the verification for you.
I am really sorry for this delay Joe. You have been very patient with me, as well as understanding and respectful. You're a good man Joe. I'll get that tracking info over to you tomorrow. The rifle will probably arrive on Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Thank you again Joe. Talk to you soon.
