a friend just bought a contender in 7mm-08. he bought 4 boxes of winchester supreme ammo. we shot a box thru it today,or tryed to shoot a box. we had 4 miss fires in a box of 20,they all were hit good ,just didn't go off. anyone else have this problem.

i would call winchester, they will want that back to look at. also check the lot # on the other 3 remaining boxes, if they're the same they'llwant those too. you will end up with some replacements, probably an extra box or two too.

Try a different brand of ammo before sending the Winchester ammo back.Could be the Contender has an issue.

I've had problems in the past with their components, cases especially. I won't use them except as a last resort.

winchester supreme is usualy good stuff, i've had much better luck with them and federal over remington. but any mfr can have a bad batch.
