I have a left-hand Tikka 595 in 7-08 that I really like. I was thinking of getting a T-3 Lite Stainless left-hand, but remember some forum members not being happy with theirs.
I would appreciate it if any Tikka T-3 owners would chime in with what you like or dislike about yours. I know it might not have the "character" or prestige of a higher price gun, but they do tend to put bullets close to each other!

I've had a couple. They've all shot great. My 270 Win was a one hole shooter, same with my 6.5 Swede. Great rifle at a good price.

Tom

I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. I have a .308 Lite Stainless that shoots exceptionally well with alot of different bullets.

T3 is a super rifle, especially in the bang for the buck department. Son-in-law's shot sub 1" groups on first box of ammo. The trigger was factory set about as sweet as you'd hope a gunsmith could tune it for you. The action feeds smooth as silk.
You cannot, IMHO, go wrong with one of these bad boys. Great rifles.

Currently I have Tikkas in .223, .243, .308, .300 Win and .338.
I have never seen a factory rifle more consistantly accurate than the Tikkas.

the t3 is a good gun for the money how ever i and alot of the people i am around think the older 595/695 are alittle better but not as light weight i had a 595 in .223 it was one of the most accurate out of the box rifles i ever owned with tuning and very little fouling

As they say, the Truth is the Truth. I have a lefty 595 in .223. It shoots great! And now I have a T3 Lite in .30-06 in transit. And to tell you the truth...and it pains me to say this...I'm kinda eyeing another one in .270 Winchester. They shoot like the bomb diggity and the price isn't just fair, it's real good! If I could find a lefty in 6.5x55, I think I would acknowledge having achieved satori. Oh, yeah. Tikka's rock!
Exquisitely turdlike in all of his many manifestations!!

I have four of them. A 308, a 270, a 338 and recently a 6.5x55. All shot moa out of the box. The 6.5x55 and the 270 are my go-to for this season. For a hunting friend, you can't make a better choice.

Most of my rifles are customs. Two of those that aren't are Tikkas, one is a 6.5x55 and the other a .22-250. Both consistently will shoot 3/8" groups at any time. Both are fine shooting rifles with good triggers that are easy to adjust. In my opinion they are an excellent value and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another one if it was in a caliber I wanted.

I have a T3 laminate/stainless in .25-06 that shoots sub-moa with EVERY load that I feed it. The rifle took about 70 rounds to settle down and consistently shoot this way (it was shooting 1.5" groups for the first while). Now, some loads will get 1-hole groups, others will do 0.5" groups at 100 yards, but all of them will do sub-moa. The action is one of the smoothest I have ever felt (with the other one being my Husky action), the trigger is great right from the factory, stock is nice and light, yet seems to fit quite well. For the price, I can't complain at all, and neither will you!!

I picked up a .270 since I could not really reload until I got settled in a new place and needed to feed something factory ammo. It has become my #1 rifle for everything and a .223 has now joined it. I have even built up a temporary loading bench because I wanted to see what it would really do.
Neither rifle has been the least bit picky, the biggest group fired by the .223 was about .75" at 100 and most are about .3-.4".
My only complaint is related to magazines, how a $500 rifle has a $60, 3 shot magazine is amazing.
Hunt hard, kill clean, waste nothing and offer no apologies.
