Went to a gunshow today .I was checking the racks for Savages
when I spot one with a round hole in the bolt. I pulled it out of the rack and started checking, wood looked good ,no sling swivels,no extra holes in receiver,sights look origional,check the barrel markings WTF 30-30 win ,wrong pat dates . Dammit
Oh well it half survived.Got the serial# for you Rick #6245

I have seen several 95 savages rebarreled but only to 303 Savage. Chances of finding an original barrel must be slim to none.

I once owned consecutively ser. #'ed 1895's...one was factory engraved (Geo. Madis says Conrad Ulrich)...the other a solid 95% o/a...Jed
