Interesting article by an interesting guy but it in no way changes my mind that Obama/Biden is the wrong answer and McCain/Palin is.

In fact, his sole gripe is "I'm special too" and he seems to think that John McCain is unqualified because he is a hot head (aka passionate) and too conservative. I can live with that in my president.

It would be sort of surprising if 100% of the hundreds of POWs agreed on a political candidate, whether he was one of theirs or not.

The guy is a moron, saying he isn't doesn't make it so. He want's credibility for his story because he is "an American hero - has the medals to prove it" but his story is about how those medals don't mean anything in the grand scheme of things, when applied to John McCain.

Medals do not = intelligence.

Well, the guy certainly does not sound like a moron, though he obviously has some McCain - envy issues. Life takes many twists and turns, and it results in people having different views on issues. I can live with that. However, I will also stand up for what I believe to be correct, based on MY experiences. Given those parameters, this guy and I disagree. Many of my friends live in the liberal world of academia, and though we disagree on nearly everything, we can still acknowledge each other as good, caring people. The way to deal with the differences is to vote. The libs have taken over the education system and the media, to a large extent, but middle America is out there, silent in many elections. The left is taking this election to the extreme left, and may indeed alienate the voters they have gathered through single issues. The "tipping point" I think it's called. I, for one, think it's about time to be angry with our enemies, and even the political opposition. 'Bout time.
