The safety on my A 5 is without tension and slides too easily from side to side. It is held in place by the tension of a ball pushed down onto the safety tensioned by the trigger spring.

My trigger spring is secured by the hammer spring screw and is inlet into the receiver by milled slots to position it. All the trigger springs I locate now are secured by a pin if I understand the catalogs correctly.

Any one have a solution? Where would I find an old style trigger spring?

The Browning man At Western Gun Parts said there was no chance of finding this spring. At least I spoke with someone who was able and willing to research the problem.
