I picked up a Win. 71 in 450 Alaskan with a "REX STA-CUL" muzzle brake some loading dies and several boxes of Ammo and was wondering about several things. #1 Has anyone heard of a "REX" muzzle brake? #2 The ammo is hand loaded and I think I'll need to pull it apart and load my own since I don't know who loaded it, what would be a good starting load? #3 The barrel is the original 348 "X'd" out and re-stamped .450 ALASKAN, is there anyone in particual that is known for doing this work? it must have been re-bored and it looks like a very good job with the brake added. Thank you for any info or help. I'm pretty excited to try this out.
