A friend recently purchased a Remington R15 in 204R, and was hoping to increase his cartridge oal via a modified magazine.
DPMS used to make them, and I seem to remember Champions or Sinclair's once carrying them.
Anyone know of any sources, or the details on making the mod?

I don't think anyone makes the VLD mags any more. They were single stack mags. I've got a few of them somewhere.

You can cut the front of the mag out a bit to gain some extra length.

Beyond that I'm not sure there is any help.

You could ask at AR15.com??? I dunno if they'd even know of them, or best bet try nationalmatch.us to see if anyone knows where some might be.
