4H group is starting archery finally after trying for probably 15 years.... I'm involved as a coach, but have been out of the newest loop of gear, my newest bow is a brackenbury recurve built by Jim before he drowned.... so..
Anyone know if any companies offer package good deals on youth bows, from 9YO up to 18..... We are going to have to buy about 10 bows real soon.
Thanks, Jeff

Talk to Mathews about their Genesis line. They support archery in the schools and Christian Bowhunters maybe they can do something for you too. Give Lancaster Archery in Lancaster PA a call. They are good people and may be able to help out too.

Good idea promoting archery. Our sixth grade goes on a yearly three-day trip to a YMCA camp at which archery is one of the activities. I thought that it might be a good thing if they could have their own (better) equipment than is available at the camp. A number of years ago I wrote to Bear asking if they were interested in making some equipment available for the purpose of promoting the sport among youngsters. Got back a reply that basically said they were in business to sell bows, not give them away.

rost495--I have some assorted archery items-arrows, bow quiver, rests, fletching jig, etc. that are excess to my needs. Arrows are sizes from 2016s to 2315s and I think all are at least 29" long. If you are interested and can use them, I'll ship 'em all to you for the cost of shipping.

5s, I've had same feelings from Bear over the years, tis a shame Fred is really gone. I've had the pleasure of setting foot in the same valley as he, in AK and felt an kindred spirit... but the company did not back that.
Dustoffer, PM replied to and many thanks.

I just ordered a handful this year. Prices are discounted but you have to buy finger tabs and the like... http://www.nasparchery.com/activea....licationID=321&cboFileCategoryID=972Dust, if Rost does not take you up on that offer, I will for our 4H program...
