My son drew an early season cow tag in Unit 10 and is looking for some advise. I've been scouting with him the last two weeks (mostly on the Kaibab Natl Forest) and have not seen any elk and very little sign of them. I not looking for specific "spots", just a little help.

Try east of Seligman to Crookton on 66. Exit just west of the railroad overpass on the north side of tracks. Head east and north.
