I would not be happy with that paint job. I used krylon texture paint on my Remington sps stock and it held up much better than that and I didn't baby it at all. I even used my buttstock to thrash a tree to call a couple bulls back and it doesn't show that kind of wear. If they won't stand behind it definately have rick put a decent paint job on it.

Well just got off the phone with Mike from Nosler. They did not apologize for blaming the rifle problems on me but did state they would paint the rifle free of charge. Seems I was right all along and the paint was coming off very easily. He stated he thinks something chemical wise must have gotten on there and softened the paint. Unsure what could have done it because the bore cleaner has not contacted paint. I was pleased to hear him say they are going to continue to look into the rifle and if there are any more problems they will be addressed. Rifle should be there another week or more before sending it back to me.

.... He stated he thinks something chemical wise must have gotten on there and softened the paint. Probably the same chemicals that caused a batch of their Accubond tips to crumble.
