Whoever is elected will have inherited too much from the current Administration to worry about UN control.
These issues include: 1. The Federal Budget Deficit 2. Out-of-control Federal spending 3. The crippling National Debt 4. The sinking economy 5. Rising unemployment 6. Social Security funding 7. Medicare solvency 8. A bad housing market 9. A credit market crisis 10. The banking crisis 11. Global trade issues 12. Separate Wars in two countries, one of which views us occupiers, not liberators 13. International disrespect from our friends and allies, 14. Etc., etc.
If Obama (if he wins) has time to get legislation passed to put us under UN control, then he has more energy than most of us!
The only winner in all the above issues is George Bush; he gets to slink back to Texas after leaving a royal mess for the next 2 generations to live with. He (along with Dick Cheney) has managed to cripple the greatest economy in the entire history of the world!

Probably a little of all of the above, but my point is, the new president will be incredibly busy and have his hands too full to cede control to anyone. As to signing an Executive Order, I'm afraid that you do not understand the limits or constraints of Executive Orders. Generally, they are used to direct the operations of the Federal Government. In a few cases, they do have the force of law when they are directly in response to authorization given by Congress.
And, even if any president wanted to cede control to another entity (the US, OAS, etc.) the US Supreme Court would invalidate the action. Ah ha! you say, he'd just use the military to shut down the Supreme Court and do what he wanted. Do you really think the US military would support such an unconstitutional abuse of power? - I don't.
The only major constitutional case of a president attempting to ignore a Supreme Court order (the only one I can think of) was Richard Nixon's refusal to release the Watergate Tapes; the US Marshal's Service (of the US Justice Department) said US Marshals would enter the White House and enforce the Order - the Secret Service was uncomfortable with armed Marshals entering the White House and cooler heads quickly prevailed. Nixon resigned soon after.
Mannlicher has stated that I am a socialist; I'm not certain what this means. I am well within the upper 5% of the nation income-wise and in the upper 3% net worth wise; I don't want to re-distribute my wealth, but I am very willing to pay my share of the National Debt and educate kids. I absolutely support free enterprise and private ownership of assets, but I recognize the need to help the less fortunate. So, by the way, does billionaire Warren Buffet.
Finally, I have not decided who I�ll vote for in this election, but we need real change, not just the same old �drunken spending and just increase the National Debt� philosophy of Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and, George W. Bush. We can just not afford this anymore. If this makes me a socialist, I�m OK with being considered fiscal responsible.
