Hi, I recently acquired a 99C and am thinking of replacing the wooden stock and forearm on it with a stock and forearm from Boyd's. Is anyone aware of any other places that would offer replacement stocks/forearms? Any synthetic stocks/forearms? Thanks in advance for your help.

Get back to CGN!!!!!

No synthetic, but try here.

Or wait around the owner is around here somewhere, he'll let you know what he has!

Hi MD,

Thought I'd check in as it looks like I'll be getting a few more 99's and 1899's once this permanent Savage addiction goes full bore These will be left as is. For this particular gun, it'll be a shooter and prefer straight grip vs pistol grip.

As for the suggestion, merci beaucoup!

I don't mind if you guys buy up every shooter on the board, so long as you don't get in between me and the collector grades!

Western Gun Parts in Edmonton has all varieties. Go to their web page--but service is much better if you call them.
