Just received my NCStar 20-60X spotting scope. It comes with a laser pinter to help align the scope. I only need the scope to see bullet holes at the range, in daylight. Didn't need no stinkin' $1000.00 scope as I don't plan on discovering any stars, either in the sky or through their bedroom windows.

Tested it out in my yard and the laser pointer is so weak that you can barely see it at 20 yards against any surface. Oh well, maybe I shudda bought a $1000.00 scope?

I've had a few low dollar chi com optics, one should have been enough. I haven't understood the appeal of greatly magnifying a cloudy field of view. If you already have a decent scope on your rifle and can't see bullet holes, you'll have to get a 1/2 decent spotter.

I think you'll find that for $200-300 you can find a suitable spotter. Anything less and you are just throwing your money away.
