Looks like the terrain where I hunt in Rocksprings. Well done! Hope you get many more to come your way!

That baby do kick much harder than my regular .270. My fault though getting contorted and then limp wristed to shoot under a cedar tree. I think I'll be paying a little more attention in the future.
The rainguard sheds blood beautifully. The butler creek caps absorb allot of recoil and leave a really nice imprint.

Well I found another volunteer. No scope cut this time! The Tikka might get to hunt another season. I'm warming up to it quickly. We will see how she does the rest of the year.

The campfire rifle is getting warmed up. I leave this Saturday for a week's vacation of whitetail hunting at my lease. Here's to hoping for the rut to kick in while I'm there.

Nice, those Tikka's are sweet. Unless your a midget you might want to push that scope forward. Congrats on the kills they look like good eatin'.

My partner got a scope cut this year also. 120 grains of Blackhorn 209 in the Knight M-L while shooting a big 10 ptr. He did bag the buck.

Unless your a midget you might want to push that scope forward. Remember now, you gotta get intimate with that Bushie to get the full sight picture. You wouldn't want to miss out on any of that glorious, better than any Leupold view.

So far my Weatherby Mark V .300 WBY hasn't bit me. I did get bit by a 30-06 several years ago that gave me a minor concussion in Hunter's Ed, but it didn't help that the rifles were designed for a 4' kid and not a 5'8" 19 year-old. When my 5'2" mother gave me the Mark V, I quickly changed the wooden stock with the 10 inch pull to a 14 1/2 inch pull stock. Though, the wood was so beautiful on my mom's stock, I've still got it somewhere. I went and turned it into a flat black composite monstrosity. Hehe.
