ive been hunting big game (elk, a moose, and deer) for five years now. i have a 308, and a 338win both savage bolt actions. the 338 is not much of a shooter ( i had other people try it, and i used a friends 338ultra sendero and could shoot 1 and a quarter inches). but i love its performance on elk. im considering a hs precision in 338 ultra. i think between this and the 308 ill have my bases covered. i want 1 moa accuracy and a 28 inch barrel will the hs do this for me. i have a leupold 2.5-10x40 vari-x III from the 338 ready to mount on it, would that be a good scope for this rifle?
